Ross Carne
Hi Suite101.com readers and other writers. I'm an experienced 57 year old writer who has thirty five articles in Canadian and US Christian magazines markets. For seven years I wrote a weekly column in the Enterprise-Bulletin newspaper in Collingwood, ON Canada. This is my home were I now live with my wife. Also, my grown son lives at home during this relationship transition. We have one grandson from another relationship of our son's.
I live with several handicaps. First, I wear a prosthesis on my right lower leg, from a trucking accident when I was twenty-one. Second, I have overcome the effects of a Bipolar mental illness for most of my adult life. Third, now in later years my hearing has gone. I can hear on the phone with the help of hearing aids and I now can hear my wife in the house.
Since I wear a prosthesis I don't do much excercise except walk to the corner store and around the short block. Now I have a new prosthesis which fits much better and now I can walk and stand more. I have limited to sitting at a computer and watching sports on the TV. I like baseball and football the most, while watching some hockey. lately, I have started to read and be more involved in groups of people because I can hear them well.
